IMMIGRATION LEVEL PLANS
Canada has been a prime destination for immigrants, be it students, settlers or refugees. People choose Canada for many reasons. Whether it's to pursue a higher education, or to benefit from Canada's high quality life and free universal healthcare, Canada's got it all.
Canada accepts a large number of immigrants to keep its economy and workforce strong. For that reason and more, it offer a number of immigration programs one can opt for to immigrate to Canada. Primarily, Canada welcomes immigrants under three classes: the economic class, family class, and refugee and humanitarian class.
To that end, Canada's Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) releases details on the Government of Canada's Immigration Levels Plan for 2022-2024, explaining the number of permanent residents Canada aims to welcome each year in the plan.
Summary of the Immigration Levels Plan 2022-2024:
Canada has increased its immigration level plans for 2022-2024 aiming to welcome 431,645 new Permanent Residents in 2022, 447,055 in 2023 and 451,000 in 2024.
