Definitions

Visa-free: Visa-free refers to the ability/facility offered to a passport holder of a certain nationality to travel to a foreign country without the need for a travel visa.

Visa-on-arrival: Visa-on-arrival facility refers to the facility offered to a passport holder of a certain nationality to travel to a foreign country without the need for a travel visa pre-departure from their home country, and a travel visa is issued to them at the immigration port of the destination country.

e-Visa: e-Visa is also known as an electronic Visa. It is an official document that permits passport holders to enter and travel to a country with the help of a visa issued to them digitally. This visa is collected digitally and is usually printed on paper and presented at the immigration port while travelling.

eTA: Electronic Travel Authorization (eTA) is an entry requirement for visa-exempt foreign nationals travelling to a country. The eTA is electronically linked to a traveller's passport.
